My feedback from the Open Beta

Beta Weekend 1:

1. LMGs and ARs seem really bad at longer range, even whenever tap firing. I don't know if it's hit reg or just bullet spread, but it's awful at the moment.

2. Revive initiation needs work (when using the syringe, not the defib). It feels like the soldier doesn't grab the downed player reliably. Sometimes it takes a couple of attempts to grab the soldier (and drag them)

3. Hit reg in general needs work. On so many occasions I was within 10m of an enemy and the shotgun didn't get me a kill when aiming at the torso.

4. TTK could do with turning down a notch, not much though. TTD too.

5. Resupplying from crate when playing as Support takes long (it should be quicker just for this class).

6. The ADS spot for Recon is a bit OP.

7. The maps seem a little small for vehicle combat. Larger maps needs to be added. These claustrophobic maps are good for infantry gameplay, but the game also needs so larger maps.

8. When using the recon T-UGS. The way it's supposed to work (how it worked in past Battlefield games), you selected it using the arrow button, and then manually placed it where you wanted.

However, now when you select it using the arrow bitton, you can't manually place itself on the floor, as it is automatically placed on the floor when selected.

9. The damage dealt to an enemy is showing up as dark blue which is very difficult to see. I don't know if this is a bug or if there is a place to actually change the colour for the damage dealt value (I can't find it).

10. When exiting a tank, you are placed at the front of it, which is the worsr position. So many times I've exited the tank in order to repair it only to be right in the line of fire from oncoming enemy fire or enemy tanks.

Exiting the tank should put you behind the tank where it's safe.

11. Some of the scopes have a very feint reticle, making it barely visible. Reticles/red dots need to be vivid to aid in more accurate aiming.

12. There is no way to mark/spot enemies when in vehicles.

14. Commorose is not available when in a vehicle.

15. Thermal scopes need to be added a al BF2042.

16. Reviving with the defib doesn't feel reliable. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to rev someone.

17. LMGs feel rather underwhelming compared to ARs and Carbines. They need a buff for sure.

18. I'm unable to see occupants in my vehicle. In past Battlefield games, the occupants would be listed on right side of the screen.

Beta weekend 2:

I have to start off by saying that I'm not having anywhere near the amount of fun this week as I was last week. Here's why:

1. The netcode is SOOOO bad. I have clips where I will shoot an enemy less than 10 metres away in the torso with the shotgun and it simply won't kill him. It will do like 20 damage. Seriously!? That should be an instant kill! Other matches it works fine. But majority of the time it is just outright bugged. There is simply no reliability whatsoever.

Another example, I'll shoot an enemy from behind 30m away, put half an clip in him, and they won't die. They will then do a 180 and kill me in like 2 bullets. It's BS!

2. The map hacks where people go on top of roofs. It's making the game not enjoyable at all.

3. Rush and Breakthrough need a huge overhaul. This has been mentioned numerous times by others and I hope DICE can rectify the issues with these modes.

On to some bugs:

1. When using the Support class deployable cover. There is a bug whereby if you're in the process of placing the deployable cover and something inadvertently blocks it from being placed eg, a friendly, or some debris, it will not allow you to place it again....you have to wait for the deployable cover cooldown period, and then you can place it. There should not be a penalty of the cooldown period if your initial attempt to place the deployable cover waste blocked by someone/something. It should let you immediately place the deployable cover again.

2. Reviving downed players sometimes requires multiple attempts with the defib. It should be reliable and require a single attempt.

3. There needs to be a clear audible cue that let's you know that you've used your training class upgrade at level 1/2/3 (when you press L1 and R1).

I really hope the netcode is fixed. It was so frustrating to play on the second week of the Beta. Not getting kills when they 100% should have been kills. Getting killed when I'm way behind cover.

I also feel like visibility could be improved on the maps. Enders touched on this topic and I agree with him.

DICE have a solid platform here to build upon, but I hope they read the player feedback and address the issues in time for release.

I shot a guy with a shotgun that was running away from me FIVE TIMES yesterday. Every hit connected and he didn't die. Then his teammates showed up and downed me in a split second.
