My general feedback as a BF player since BC2
The sniper headshot perma death thing, I thought was a good idea, it turns out it's not, especially with these significantly easier to use snipers. It promotes the most annoying playstyle of cliff snipers and makes the open map borderline unplayable at times on breakthrough. This is single handedly the least fun thing in the entire game. Even slide shooting nonsense isn't as annoying.
The rangefinder needs to be changed to just tell you the range in your scope, sniping is easy enough already without that making it even easier by basically making them act as if they have no drop. Again promoting even more cliff snipers.
Vehicles are good, I think they work quite well as is, probably the best vehicle combat I've had since BF1.
Gunplay is /mostly/ good. there's some wonkiness to the TTK at times but it could just he server issues. But it seems like you die in 3-4 hits 0.5 seconds, vs getting 6-7 hit detections before enemies die.
However being able to shoot while sliding needs to be removed entirely. DMR hit detections seem almost completely broken at times, and the snipers just shoot too flat. (not that it matters once you have the range finder). Scope glint is way too high as well.
Breakthrough balance is horrendous, Ive seen maybe 5% wins from attacking side, and I've been on teams that have cleared the entire objectives and pushed and still just couldn't hold it long enough. Enemies spawn too close in some cases, in others locations are near impossible to take unless the other team is braindead.
conquest felt good, cap locations seem good for the most part, but the game seems to lag hard at times only in conquest for me.
If the other maps are as good as these release is going to be a lot of fun.
Overall, this is the best Battlefield beta I have played since BF1. Which is my favorite of the series. So theres a lot of promise here.
Edit - Also remove the sweet spot mechanic, it wasn't good in BF1 its not good now.
