Nickname used if playing over Steam

I'm sad when I saw Battlefield 6 Open Beta used mine Steam nickname. I want use mine nickname which using on EA App. It is possible use nicknames from EA App or give players to choose? Or I must just play over EA App only if want same nickname like in EA App?
