Yes, I’m absolutely a long-time Call of Duty player, I won’t deny that.
But my Battlefield journey started with Bad Company 2, and my love for BF1 is exactly why this current iteration disappoints me so much.
It feels like the focus is to deliver a toned-down, “safe” experience aimed primarily at attracting CoD players (without ever truly matching what CoD does best), even if that means drifting far away from what Battlefield once was.
For those of us who valued Battlefield’s unique identity, large-scale battles, and distinct gameplay rhythm, that shift is hard to ignore.
Of course, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but judging from what I’m seeing, I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way.
