So… thanks EA. Really, thank you.

Thanks for showing me during this beta exactly what Battlefield has become — and more importantly, what it no longer is.

For years, this franchise had its own soul. Its own pacing. Its own identity. Now? It’s just a shameless, unbalanced Call of Duty knock-off, desperately trying to please a completely different crowd. You’ve taken the heart of Battlefield — the tactical play, the team dynamics, the large-scale chaos with purpose — and traded it for mindless run-and-gun chaos in a box.

And here’s the tragic part: the Call of Duty crowd you’re bending over backwards to impress will run straight back to the next Call of Duty as soon as it drops. And when that happens, guess who’s left? Not them… and certainly not the Battlefield community you’ve just alienated.

This isn’t innovation. This isn’t evolution. This is pure disregard — a complete lack of respect for the people who carried this series through its highs and lows. You’ve burned the bridge, and for what?

So again, thanks for the beta. It saved me the price of disappointment.
