Open Beta Feedback
Overall I have been really impressed with the Open Beta and really think the game is going in the right direction . Here are my thoughts so far.
Weapons : TTK seem a bit hit and miss as does damage dealt . Also feel hit detection is a bit off . Few times I have thought I was behind cover / corner / walls and suddenly die . being outgunned at range by an SMG seems a bit off especially when using an AR or LMG . Possible the DMG drop off needs adjusting . Gun handling feels good and attachments do make a noticeable difference .
Spotting : Spotting is so OP . You can be spotted when hit , when you shoot , when cursored on , UAV and motion sensor . This needs to be changed back to the old way where you have to be spotted using Q key / Pinged or when UAV is active . It’s far too easy to spot or be spotted currently .
suppression : Suppression does not work , shooting a whole mag at a sniper only for them to remain in the aim and either two shot or head shot you . Suppression should effect vision and when hit the weapon flinch need to be increased.
Maps : Maps do feel small and it’s easy to rotate and stop a cap . Maps feel like you are constantly in a TDM game rather than large scale conquest .
Liberation Peak : is so unbalanced in Rush / breakthrough . Spawn trapped by snipers as there is not enough cover and the attackers have the height advantage . Needs more cover , potentially move C Flag or drop C flags altitude . Would like to see access to some roof tops by ladders like previous games . The glitch on site of Cairo changes the dynamic and makes its fun and allows or roots to attack .
The Repair tool is OP when two engineers on a tank does not matter how many RPGs fired at it you can’t kill it .
Grenades / rpg feel in consistent if a grenades RPG hits a room you are in you should die .
I have enjoyed the Beta these are just my thoughts .
