Physics and mobility of helicopters Battlefield 6

"Hi team, I'm a retired Air Force officer.
I wanted to give some specific feedback on the physics of helicopter movement in the game. My main observation is that the pivot point for pitch and roll movements appears to be incorrectly simulated.
In real life, a helicopter pivots on the main rotor, which is the lift point. The fuselage and cockpit roll below this point. However, in the game, the helicopter feels like it pivots from a central point on the fuselage, giving it a stiffer, more artificial motion, similar to that of an airplane.
This physical inaccuracy significantly reduces immersion and makes control feel less 'organic.' To improve this, I would suggest revising the physics model so that the pivot point for pitch and roll is the rotor. This would allow the fuselage to 'hang' and respond more naturally to rotor tilts, providing a much more realistic flight experience and clearly differentiating the experience.  from piloting a helicopter to that of an airplane.

That's a great perspective I hadn't heard before. One would hope that solution would be an easy one compared to reworking the whole control system. I really hope they are paying attention to the feedback about helis in particular. I would argue a vast majority of BF veterans would agree something seems off in a very disappointing way regarding the feeling of the chopper

When you're used to seeing helicopters fly you're surprised to see such poor simulation, even more so when it's a game with such a substantial budget. I think they should have sought out trained advisors, some aeronautical engineer. Where they did a good job with the helicopter flight simulation was in Battlefield Bad Company 2, and in Battlefield 2042 it's quite deficient, but in Battlefield 6 it's pitiful. It seems to me that it's deteriorating the game's prestige in some details that wouldn't have been difficult to fix. Apart from that, there's little stability and it makes playability difficult. They've ignored forces like inertia, the weight of the ship moves like a twenty dollar drone.
