Recon signature gadget should be the re-spawn beacon

If they do place a beacon, it is likely to be easily found and camped. rendering it useless. 

Not really, they can just put it a bit earlier than where they enter. I played aggressive scout, infiltrator kind of build in 2042, them being discovered was hardly an issue.
