Yeah, it's unfortunate that more effort would likely not be made to make the class more unique and balanced, but we can hope. I will say that having binoculars would help, but not be a solution. BF4 used a ranging scope that I usually utilized to find targets before switching to my weapon to engage them without giving away my position hopefully. I also don't think it would be moving too heavy into a milsim. Milsims are usually much slower paced and more deliberate. But BF has usually, in my experience, been more of an arcade like milsim to begin with in contrast to CoD which is more of an arcade shooter with military skins and weapons. That said, I think that BF6 can separate the classes , weapon capabilities and play styles more while still maintaining an arcade style of gameplay.
