I am not able to get information.
Will we have ( like in old BF games ) scopes with zoom less than 4x , no glint ?
I remember in old BF3/4 games and in BF2042 the scopes that were 4x zoom and lower had no glint at all.
One more thing. I read somewhere that the bullet trail was removed or not ? Today I read on reddit that they keep it and only reduce it ? Like whaat ?
Like taht scope glint that looks like supernova explosion was not enough , now they want to keep taht bullet trail too ?
I really do hope that scope glint is not a thing on all scopes but the lower ones with that 4x zoom and less are free of taht glint.
I'm more of a BF4 veteran myself, so that's my game for comparison, which seems to be one of the games people call back to for what they want to see in BF6. Even then scope glint was a bit ridiculous, though maybe not as bad as it looks in BF6. But even then ACOGs and other low-powered magnifiers were pretty much unaffected and didn't have scope glint. However, those were usually found on most battle rifles and carbines. It's usually been DMRs and Sniper Rifles with high powered scopes that were very much affected, so I think you're safe on 4x or lower optics. But I would personally take light bullet trails that might give away a general direction over a light house on my weapon that absolutely gives my position away.
Or go back to the OG and don't have scope glint. It was a carry over from COD with the small maps and rapid movement quick scoping. Would much prefer to have proper scopes with no glint, but massive penalties for moving while trying to use them. Slow ADS times would also be practical for proper sniping, but get rid of the abuse that causes the real issues.
