Indeed the maps need a rework / redesign making them bigger like in previous BF games, even BF2042 in 64 lobbies had the right size.
Rush mode is badly designed with this kind of size, devs mentioned that Bad Company 2 inspired them, etc., so why not stickin' on that mode design that worked perfectly?
