So yeah, after playing for a couple of hours I just wanna say I hope the sniper glint is gone after this open beta. We are playing battlefield not call of duty. Now if the sniper is facing the Sun yeah sure show the glint but otherwise please remove.
Sniper glint is a balancing tool and should stay but I think it can be reduced a little and be added to all magnified optics above 1.5x when attached to a sniper rifle. To elaborate on the glint optics from 1.6-3.9x have very little glint almost not there and 4-6x medium to little and above 6x medium + and glint should shine according to distance closer you are to it the brighter or more apparent it should be until you are within 15m or so. Taking it away completely would just make the game a hide and seek sim with guns causing snipers to be way over powered especially when they already have little to no aiming impact when taking fire or being hit

Sniper glint has been there since BF3 and was so much more visible on BF1.Happy to see what the dev will do for the official lunch btw
Sniper glint is a Battlefield mechanic, it's always been a Battlefield mechanic. Whatever do you mean by "this is BF not COD". CoD, on the other hand, has only added it recently.
Good, there should be some. Otherwise you create a nightmare balancing issue and no one can find the snipers lol
Official DICE dev has mentioned that it will be reduced but it is here to stay.
