Soldiers should be exiting the rear of the light tanks not front
I don't know about you but being an engineer is pointless if you exit the front to repair your teams tank just to be pelted by enemy fore

You exit where you are looking when you press exit.
Which is silly to have to remember to swivel your gun/barrel all the way around to exit the back of a tank. If you're firing in a certain direction because there are enemies, why give them anymore precious time to hit you with rockets or run up with C4? It's been this way for the past few games I think but trust Me this is why never play engineer. It's a silly oversight in design.
Never exit your tank as the driver in the first place! That just lets the enemy steal it.
