Spotting mechanics and movement problems
Spotting: For starters, the spotting system is not like previous games, unlike bf1 or bf4, in bf6 you just need to be looking at an enemy for 1 to 2 seconds, and then they have a red icon above their head for everyone to see them on the map straight away, it removes your ability to make good flanks on enemies as only 1 emeny needs to see you then you are high lighted for the whole emeny team. Now if the enemy saw you and had to physically spot you like previous games (by pressing a button) that makes sense but the new system eliminates the need to actually spot people, instead you just have to look at them and boom, they're on the mini map and they got a big red icon above their head. It incentivizes COD-like run and gun gameplay instead of moving with discretion and purpose. Instead, the gameplay moves very similar to Call of Duty.
Movement: Now a lot of people have already said the game moves like COD, you can dolphin dive, slide, dropshot, tea bag spam and jumpshot all while aiming down sight perfectly. Thats COD movement, not battlefield. Now of course games should evolve, that's fine, but I found myself and others running around with a shotgun jump shotting , drop shotting and diving around like we were playing a COD game. The soldiers are wearing heavy armour, yet they feel weightless. We don't want Battlefield to make a COD game, we want Battlefield-style movement and it just doesn't feel like that right now. I think a lot of people would argee, its plays like COD. Again... soldiers these days irl are wearing like 50-100 pounds of gear, yet in bf6 they are running and jumping around like a naked crack head looking for some meth. Doesn't have to be super, realistic, but it should stay true to classic Battlefield and right now it doesn't.
