Suppression

I was playing as a sniper on the Peak map. Can absolutely confirm suppression is NOT working. I was constantly getting lit tf up by tanks, IFV's, machine gunners, and AA vehicles. Not once did my character act any different in any way and I just keep shooting like nothing happened (granted the only sniper rifle in game is absolute dogsh*t, better to just use a DMR)

The answer seems simple - there shouldnt be perks to turn off suppression. Or, make it a part of a time limited gadget or skill

BF3 and 4's Suppression sucked. It was there, but didn't achieve much at all because they had a counter for it through the passive perks.
I would "suppress" a "Sniper" and they'd still be able to jump around and get a head shot.

The only counter to suppression is to break line of sight ( smoke and move) or FLANK!! Please stop giving people, "get out of jail free cards"  Reward those who use their brains and the environment around them.  

Me and my friends agree that suppression is absolutely pointless in BF6 as it clearly just doesn't do anything.

This is a good callout. I agree. BF4 had great suppression effect. This game lacks it seemingly completely and it was a huge part of BF3/4 core gameplay.
