I don't think the tanks are the weakest in BF history but i do think engineers have to many rockets and get them resupplied too fast.
At least tank machine guns do serious damage to infantry. Our squad now runs from tanks in general as by default we don't have an engineer full time. In bf of recent past we weren't too bothered by them.
But as you all say, you should be able to survive longer, unless someone plants 3xC4 on you 😉
