I think that's probably more to do with a net issue (on their side) rather than the actual TTK/D.
Like I have felt like I have been one shotted in close range at times and not heard / felt any of the bullets hit.
I think if they slowed the game pace and made the TTK a bit higher and sorted the netcode out then that would solve a lot of issues.
