Why BF6’s Current TTK Breaks Realism and Gameplay”?? “In Battlefield 6, requiring nearly a full magazine to kill a single enemy is neither realistic nor good for gameplay balance.
In real-world combat, the average intermediate cartridge (like 5.56×45mm NATO or 7.62×39mm) delivers enough kinetic energy to incapacitate a target in 1–3 wellplaced shots, especially to vital areas. Even hits to non-vital areas often stop a soldier from fighting effectively within seconds. That’s why trained marksmen don’t spray 20 rounds they aim for center mass or critical points.
When every enemy becomes a bullet sponge, three major problems happen:
- Loss of Immersion – Watching someone tank 15–20 bullets destroys the feeling of a real battle.
- Weakened Tactics – Flanking, ambushing, and shot placement lose value when damage is too low.
- Spray and Pray Meta – Players are rewarded for dumping ammo instead of using precision and positioning.
Battlefield has always thrived on a balance of realism and fun. The current BF6 TTK tilts too far from realism, turning firefights into long, repetitive exchanges rather than fast, decisive encounters.
A better system would use location based damage scaling:
- Head & upper torso shots: 1–3 bullets to incapacitate.
- Limbs & non-vital hits: 4–6 bullets, depending on armor.
This would preserve balance, reward accuracy, and still allow new players a fighting chance.
Right now, TTK feels like shooting at heavily armored robots. Battlefield deserves better and faster, more authentic damage would make every fight more intense, every bullet more meaningful, and every kill more satisfying
