UI/UX remarks and suggestions

1. Compass

The compass is a bit unclear. I think the 4 cardial points should stand out a bit more, compared to the numbers. Either a different color, or size, or both. Honestly, I never use, nor have I ever heard anyone using them.

Something like that, maybe ? No need for the the middle points, just the 4 main should be good enough.

2. Assault class - grenade launchers

When you are using both grenade launchers at once (I often do, because I don't like having to have less than half my ammo reserve for my main weapon. Once the full game hits, I expect it will be less of an issue thanks to other gadgets, but still), the UI is identical for both. Maybe add an icon to differentiate ? And maybe a detail on the launcher ?

3. Objectives and squad orders

They appear if you look directly in the direction of the objective.

But could they also appear on the top bar ? Not a big deal, just a nice to have in my opinion.

4. Respawn

Not really UI related, but still a nice quality of life. In Battlefield 1, when you respawn, the camera zooms in, until you spawn, giving you an idea of where you are going to spawn, relative to the point you selected.

In BF6, it just cuts in, and if you don't know the map by heart, it is a bit confusing.

    Some additional observations I've had.

    1.) For me they need to make it far more obvious which player you are when looking at the map. I only noticed the initial ping on my second day of playing. It should be a persistent ping.

    2.) The sliders in settings for controller players needs addressing. They are sooo slow when wishing to change in small increments, and far too quick when holding the direction.
