I'm not basing this opinion on statistics, but I actually feel the current weapons' drop off is well suited for larger maps, which is why Assault is having an absolute field day with these miniscule maps. I'll get completely destroyed in five shots from an Assault person halfway across the map on Liberation Peak, and usually I try to justify how I get killed at long ranges but for real I've been killed in ways that seem so impossible by Assault class spammers. Unless this problem is fixed by larger maps, I don't think I'll be willing to shill out $70 for Assault class sniping simulator (godforbid they buff the shotgun)
You do have a point. The bloom is supposed to help, but i feel as if just going from 25 to 20 dmg isnt enough. Most of bf4s guns went down to 18 if not even more, which gave it an extra shot to kill. Every AR being either 4 shots close to 5 shots at ANY OTHER RANGE seems shortsighted.
