Weapons with Class

The closed weapons game mode was nice, but I think overall, the classes don't spark enough enjoyment knowing others can take on the role of recon simply by using a sniper rifle. Support makes sense, with meds and ammo, combined with an Assault class by your side is a deadly combo, but then your recon squad mate is stuck out in Timbuk Tu on a solo quest and your engineer buddy is riding dat tank.

Have a few class specific weapons that are only available to that class, and have some weapons that overlap into other classes like "generic" assault rifles or smgs that maybe aren't as specialized to that class but if the map layout seems to favor a play style outside of that class' current weapon build they have some flexibility to join the fight properly.

Or if that weapon isn't designated to that class the options for attachments are fewer and less specialized.

Obviously Open Beta games are in their most basic form just that, a way to see what can and can't be done, and what hasn't been thought of yet.

Been playing since 1942 and my all time fave was Bad Company, BC has some great ideas on how specific classes help the fight and how you rely on others to do their part.

Looking forward to the next beta and then ultimately the launch!
