Doesn't the m4a1 have considerably more recoil and sway vs other rifles?
It does have alot of recoil and sway but you can mitigate it with attachments. The players wanted MORE recoil and the devs listened. However its almost mandatory to use recoil reduction on all guns to be able to compete. Assaults AK also got a lot of kick but you can make it a laser. The MP7 is a smg but with mods it can compete to medium range. Furthest target on the firing range stand no chance.
Dice could increase recoil on all guns but people will still only use recoil attachments. I Think the guns are fine but the attachment combos are way to good. The 417 carbine is IRL a DMR. You can kit it that way in the game but it is sill a 4-5 hit kill so people just run full recoil on it and use it for close range.
