Well so far I managed to get all possible crashes I think...
First lets start with BSOD crash:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x00000000a
this error happened 2 times today for me
Second type of crash happens much more:
The game closes with no error randomly mid game, had this crash 3 times today
Third crash type is DX12:
Attached below, had this crash 2 times today...
Also attached DxDiag report
In General I can't even consider to pre-order this game..
BF2042 launch vibes..

I had exacly the same issues, including black screen freezes, crashes to the desktop with no error report, freezes w/DX12 eror report, crash w/BSOD at ones. I had almost every game session ended crashing after 1-20 minutes. I had just one 1.5 long session , and it also ended with a crash. That's total shame.

Managed to fix all of the crashes!!!
So I'm using Z790 Gaming X motherboard with i7-13700k
The crashes came from the CPU!
13gen and 14gen CPU's are faulted because Intel didn't configure their BIOS properly, which means Watt issues, you can search it out in google.
I just downloaded the newest BIOS version, upgraded from F12 to F13 (Jun 19, 2025 release ) and I played smoothly for the last 2 days of open beta.
I general they fixed the Watt issues on the new BIOS update
- CPU Microcode Update (0x3A & 0x12F): Improves CPU stability and compatibility
Also GCC application don't show F12 to F13 upgrade..
Hope I helped :D

I've got an AMD Ryzen 7700 and BF6 still crashes. I saw many comments from different Ryzen CPU users who have the same trouble with BF6.
