Crash to Desktop, Eventlog: EAAntiCheatService failed
Hi,
I can launch the Battlefield 6 Beta just fine — the main menu runs stable. But as soon as I join a match, I get kicked to the desktop after 1–2 minutes with no error message or warning.
In the Windows Event Log, right after the crash, I see this:
EAAntiCheatService
Failed retrieving service path
Event ID 1, Source: Application
Battlefield 6 Beta doesn’t show up in the EA Anti-Cheat installer — only older BF titles are listed. I also tried a manual installation via CMD using the game path, but that fails as well, probably because the Beta doesn’t have a defined internal ID yet.
My system:
RTX 4090
i9-13900K
32 GB RAM
Windows 11
EA App up to date
All drivers, BIOS, DirectX, Visual C++ fully updated
I’ve already reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, and tried running the EA App as admin — no luck. It seems like there’s a bug in how EA Anti-Cheat is integrated into the Beta.
Is there any manual fix or patch in the works?
