If the game is hard to change resolution then a work around is to use Nvidia control panel >Change resolution> to desired fps and resolution>apply>restart game.
AMD will have a similar software I assume.
Game will be forced into that resolution. - Duchkata7 days agoNew Novice
To start with, what is your monitor? I have same issue with LG ULTRAGEAR. Can't set it to 2560x1440. Switched to my other 1440p monitor with same resolution (GIGABYTE G27Q) and have no issues with it. So for me it seems the problem is somewhere there between that.

Hi Duchkata,
My monitor is also a LG Ultra Gear, namely the LG 27GL850-B (link: 27” QHD UltraGear™ IPS Gaming Monitor with 1ms Response Time - 27GL850-B | LG AU) and is being pushed by a Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti over DisplayPort 1.4 (specifically a ROG-STRIX-RTX3070TI-8G-GAMING | Graphics Cards | ROG Australia).
My machine is a Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G7 IML, and the RTX 3070Ti is physically connected to a Thunderbolt 4 external GPU dock (a TH3P4G3 85W - AliExpress).
HW Specs:
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 5 125H
RAM: 2x 16GB DDR5 5600MHz SODIMM
GPU 1: Intel Arc Graphics
GPU 2: Asus ROG Strix 3070 Ti (via external GPU dock as mentioned above).
The issue that I was having is that there is no easy method to change the resolution whilst in-game (i.e. by going to Main Menu, then Settings, then Graphics settings). The current version (at the time of posting) of the BF6 Beta (Early Access) did not offer this. Same problem;(

Hey. I actually found a solution for my specific problem. I'm not sure if it would work for you or anyone else but the issue on my side was that on the LG monitor that I was having problems with, I had 3rd monitor connected (my TV) that I was screensharing the same screen that my main is (LG). I believe it was because the 3rd monitor was less maximum resolution and thats why it didn't let me switch to higher res or even to that monitor in the first hand. By unplugging the 3rd monitor or I guess even removing it from Display settings (I straight up unplug it from the gpu) it will solve the issue. As I said that is super specific and I was amazed because it makes 0 sense usually. I'm constantly playing different games and thats the first one that makes something like that. Also onto different topic, DLSS and Frame Gen options on Graphic settings makes your PC to make memory leaks and eventually the game crashes. It is a bug not only with Nvidia but with AMD aswell.
