dying before spawning breaks the game

When I respawned in an IFV, I respawned as the IFV was being blown up so I think I died before I was actually into the map, causing me to be in a downed state permanently, unable to die, while being able to go through the menus that you would use when dead. Only way to get around this was to quit to menu or wait until the game ended.
