Game crashes when plugging/unplugging wireless mouse

Twice now, at the exact moment, I plug in or unplug my wireless mouse ( mid-game) the game basically crashes/becomes unplayable and I have to restart.

Something to do with windows reacting with the game engine regarding input devices?
