This is a hardware issue, specifically an issue with your CPU cooler. This is not a game or software-related issue and is not something we can help with here on the forums.

This is an insane response. This game is causing throttling due to near-overheating my CPU cores on my system too--in the MENUS-- and this doesn't happen in any other games (including many CPU-heavy ones, like Star Citizen). Don't tell people it's their own hardware/CPU issue when clearly something is VERY wrong.

WAIT THIS GUY WORKS AT EA? ARE YOU SERIOUS ? jesuis christ dude you know nothing barry. the game is very very heavy cpu intensive. on ANY system especially the 9300x3D the top cpus that even YOU test benches are using wtf do you mean

My CPU overheated as well when playing this game and my PC crashed. I needed to wait a while for my CPU to cool before I could restart my PC.
I've played many other games and never had this issue before playing Battlefield 6. - OfficalHammer21 days agoSeasoned Novice
apply new thermal paste and check if your aio is dying.

It is cpu heavy but you will not overheat if your cooler can handle it. I have an i914900k and 4080s and am getting temps of 68 when playing.

Gotta defend Barry here: sounds like a hardware issue! Check your cooler and make sure the radiator fans are on. Good luck with your cooling issues!

Yeah this game has been running very well for me.
