I never installed the standalone app (reread what I wrote: sometimes I have to enable the barebones version via BIOS), and I already pointed out what appshopdrv103.sys is.
This kind of "help" where you throw information I already offered back at me isn't very helpful, so I don't need more :)
It seems that AsRock don't remove traces of the barebones version of the app which I have to enable via BIOS. These traces trigger Javelin, that's all. In BIOS, the Auto Driver Installer is disabled by default. When it's enabled, it works only on the next reboot and doesn't auto-run in subsequent reboots as its BIOS status reverts to disabled. There is no way to delete it in Windows as it does not show up anywhere.
As for antivirus scans... thanks, but I'm not a luddite.
