The FPS is smooth yet the game will randomly become slow motion when playing I am unsure if its rubber banding or bottleneck, but I am running well above the recommended specs
I found one of the solutions! I have 1x32GB HyperX Fury RAM and after I changed them to my old 2x8GB Kingston Fury the lags disappeared. I don't know if this is a defect of my new RAM or the problem is that it needs to occupy two memory slots instead of one, but I ended up reducing the RAM to 16GB and the game started working fine, it's stupid but it works.
I'm having the same issue. I thought it might be because of the CPU since it can drop up to 50 fps, but it's better than the low specs one Ryzen 5 3600 GTX 1070 8G 16G Ram M2
I am having same issue, Domination seems to be running well. But any other mode I am in a slide show and its all in slow motion.
My dxdiag
My network data from in game.
I also turned on network settings. My tn during game play after about 3 - 4 minutes in is peaking at 1300ms, on deploy screen it is 300 ms, during initial launch of the mission it is 0 - 50 ms and 0 ms on match search. I have 5 gig internet speed up and down. All settings on low, disabled frame gen. I even dropped my resolution. There is no change. My ping is 16 the whole time.
I had the same issue, and the fix for me was memory-related.
I have a dual-channel memory motherboard with 4 DDR4 memory slots, but for whatever reason when I built my PC (or at least when I last maintenanced it) I put both of my ram sticks directly adjacent to each other, which puts both sticks on the same memory channel. This is bad for performance, and you should always do a "1-3" or "2-4" pattern when placing your memory sticks (see this image I found on google for reference).
I went into my PC, took out the memory sticks, and reinserted them so that they're dual-channel. Time nudge skyrocketing immediately disappeared and the game was finally playable, plus I think I got an FPS boost.
This issue seems to be related to memory read/write speed, and considering I was a) only using one memory channel, and b) using DDR4 when DDR5 is much faster, I was experiencing the issue. I'd recommend anyone having this issue to look into their PC and make sure their RAM sticks are in the right spots.
Also worked for me.. wasnt able to fix it in BIOs because xmp settings were not available.. so I just bought new RAM with different mhz and now it works fine (for at least 10 games)
edit: nevermind it came back **bleep** this game im out
Had the same problem, been suffering two days, accidently found this discussion and saved me(at least for now). It's probably a TN problem, on client-side the short term solution is to enable XMP setting in BIOS for intel (DOCP for AMD). My RAM default is 2400 MHZ, after u opened XMP, it should be 3600. Shout out to Former-Laugh3049 who posted the solution src: https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield/comments/1mk0wr1/comment/n7h25ca/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Thank you very much, I don't know if exactly your post help me but I also have my ram side by side and I was Update my bios. And now my Problem is gone since 6 Rounds conquest smooth a s s **bleep**. Thanks guys
Please do not enter the game through Steam or other platforms. Try entering the folder icon in the file location where you installed it. I found that the slowness and lag disappeared. I apologize for my English.
I really hope this issue is worked on. The game runs great for me otherwise. This is the only thing that I am concerned about for launch. Please fix this.
