Stuck on initial splash screen - pressing space does nothing

OK, so all drivers etc. have been updated and secure boot confirmed to work. Game loads as expected and once I get to the splash screen where you press space to continue nothing happens. It's like the game doesn't recognise I have a keyboard connected. Game hasn't crashed (from what I can tell) and music plays.

This is installed on PC with Windows 11. BF 2024 runs fine.

Have confirmed early access from being registered with BF Labs.

Task manager shows BF6 Open Beta using 3.5 - 4Mb memory and around 20% of CPU so it's doing something.

Anyone else had this issue or can suggest a fix?

I've gone through all the forums etc and tried run as admin, create new windows user, verify integrity, re-download/install game but nothing works.

Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.

    After many hours of trying various fixes I finally figured out how to get into the game and it's definitely a strange bug. When I am on the splash screen where it says press space and nothing happens, if I open up either the EA or Steam overlay (tried on both platforms) then close it, I am instantly in the game.

    Hope this helps anyone else having this issue

    Additional info - Running Intel i7-13700K with 32Gb ram, Asus Rog Strix RTX3080 and game installed on internal NVME SSD.

    Fans of graphics card running pretty high considering it's only displaying the splash screen.

    Have had no issues with any other game running on this system (apart for BF2042 initially screwing up my audio). Frustrating that I only ever have issues with Battlefield games 😥

    Same, tried everything.  Silent crash on splash screen, no error messages.  HELP need please.

    Can confirm this happened to me and pressing SHIFT+TAB to open Steam overlay is an instant fix
