Xbox Game Pass required to play modes in battlefield 6 beta?

I also encountered a crash or two and multiple graphics bug through the days.

Had to close application and re-enter. Put me in a wait cue, but seems to be working fine once I made it through.

Now weapons models/scopes don't display

Hands disappeared too but reappeared after changing class

I restarted the game again and played a breakthrough and seems to be working. 

I've just received a response from ea that gamepass is required for beta

then wtf is the point of an open beta if barely anyone can play it.

Completly agree, it's not "open" and definitely not free!... I've asked them to explain their messaging 

I was literally playing the game for 2 hours & then all of a sudden I need Xbox game pass to play the OPEN BETA ?? We barely have enough Time to play the beta as it is , so please fix this issue ASAP 

This is the response from EA.... Looks like it was never meant to be available without gamepass. 

So EA should change their messaging as its clearly not a free open beta available to all
