Add a Toggle to disable skin's for Immersion-Focused Players
I’ve been a Battlefield fan for years, and I bought BF6 because I believed in the return to grounded realism. The gunplay, squad mechanics, and map design are excellent—but the recent cosmetic direction is disappointing.
I’m asking for a simple feature: a toggle to disable seeing other players’ skins, reverting all soldiers and vehicles to their default faction/class appearance. This would allow immersion-focused players to enjoy the game as it was originally marketed—gritty, grounded, and believable.
I understand cosmetics are a revenue stream, and I’m not asking you to remove them. Just give players the choice to opt out visually. It’s a win-win: monetization continues, and immersion-focused players aren’t forced to compromise their experience.
Until this is addressed, I won’t be participating in Season Passes or cosmetic bundles. I want to support Battlefield, but only when it respects the tone and vision it promised.
Sincerely,
A long-time Battlefield player who values immersion over flair
