You can hardly get off the ground no matter your flying skills, the maps that have flying vehicles don't have enough cover to ward off non-stop AA's and a whole squad of stingers.
Maybe I'm crazy but the AA capabilities vs what flyers have available to deal with them is totally unbalanced and needs some calibration, come on lads.

I mean if you rearrange your entire control scheme you can get the chopper to be quite nice on both controller and m+k, but that's just it its so difficult to learn and fly a chopper just to have to use it like it's a tank. Like I spend 80% of my matches in the air, 10 ft off the ground cause stingers are locking on to me 20 times a second.

Yeah. It is pretty rare to be in the sky for more than 30 seconds. It has to be a completely incompetent team you are up against. The balance on anti air is ridiculous.
The fact that the enemy team can sit in there spawn and lock onto you with the aa guided missiles as soon as you take off on any map is a joke there’s literally nothing you can do to counter. I don’t understand how it’s even fun for them to just sit there nearly unable to die and ruining people’s games. Im a good pilot or was on previous battlefields finishing in the top 1/4 of the leaderboard but I’m finishing games in last place constantly because there’s literally nothing you can do to counter them. PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!!
Have you used the stinger at all? As someone who is currently attempting to get 50 Assists/Kills with launchers and has been for days, It really is low tier trash. It's a lock-on missile with no range, minimum elevation lock, and can be countered by flares. As long as you fly low till your flares come back and the enemy doesn't paint you (News flash: Recon never paints aircraft until literally yelled at), you have no worries about stingers. They are so under whelming to use that I believe they need to be buffed because us casual perma-infantry players have no real way to deal with half decent aircraft pilots.
It’s broken with the paint and laser combo, jets and helis has no counter to it, back in bf3 and bf4 we had loadouts and could have ecm to counter painting, hopefully they will give us loadouts soon, jets needs more to pick from, even bf1 had more options for weapons
