For me this issue is really disappointing. Gaming is more fun with friends, and having to exclude some of your friends is dumb imo.

If the concern is that larger party sizes will unfairly benfit 1 side, can't they just seperate the matchmaking to 4 squad based vs 8 squad based? Seems like a simple fix to me.
