I believe it would be very difficult to balance. Imagine a premade team of eight players joining a 64 player server. I think they should keep the limit at four, as it seems to be the current plan.
They should let party size be unlimited so that friends can join and play with friends on the same server. Just balance the teams and split the group up. At least then you're gaming together still..... Battlefield games worked amazingly well with the old Battlelog server search. The change to portal with 2042 was a stupid move, but they stuck to it. EA sucks and should be burned to the ground.
