Battlefield 6 PC Joystick support

Will there be native support for using a joystick added to Battlefield 6 at any point?

I've played most of the previous games in the series and usually spend as much time as I can flying the helicopters or jets around. I've got my trusty Sidewinder Precision 2 joystick that I've always used for the job. I can't find a way to get BF6 to recognise any of the inputs within the settings but windows recognises the joystick and shows all the inputs as working.

If joystick compatibility isn't going to be added will I end up getting banned if I do a workaround such as X360CE to get the joystick to mimic a controller? - I want some sort of written confirmation from someone who works within the company that I wont end up getting banned if I have to do this as a workaround. Trying to fly with a mouse and keyboard is much like trying to drive a car with your legs crossed, possible but stupid.

I have a knock off of it. Everything maps, and the buttons work, but anything analog does not work. There have been a lot of messages to EA that have been completely ignored. The joystick works fine in 2042. I am thinking this is the EA Wall made of brick that everyone yells at and like the brick, we are ignored. :(

I have that stick and can't map anything. Tried the throttle lever and it won't work. Do I need to configure the stick first in Windows? Win 11 here.

No HOTAS (Hands On Throttle And Stick.) support 😞!
Only Mouse and Keyboard or Controller.

Joystick settings does NOTHING in-game
X360 emulator does not work either.

Will they ever add support for more flightsticks? I would love to use my velocityone flightstick.

The latest "Top Gun" release of BF6 is not really worth it without a joystick... Logitech Xtreme 3D works in all other games (and most prior Battlefield series), why not in BF6? ... if the market isn't for PC users, guess BF6 may be the last edition I'll be interested in playing. I tried using several "overlay" type apps to trick the game in seeing a controller (none worked, and many are no longer compatible with Windows 25H2/Defender device driver requirements).
