Beta feedback
Some thoughts I plotted down after playing the two beta weekends of BF6.
I felt the minimap to be quite small, and not clear to me who/where I was in it. (I played on 2560*1440 27inch screen, without upscaling).
I was unable to deploy my bipod while lying down a single time! I believe the keybind was the same as melee as default, and all it did was stab.
The pistol was too slow, too weak and the sound when firing was underwhelming. I would also like to see that a skilled headshot with lets say a 1911 or a slightly higher caliber sidearm to actually kill with one bullet, within a certain range that is. The pistol needs to be relevant, especially for the recon kit as a close-quarter defensive move.
Something that has already been acknowledged for changes but still my thoughts on it: Would prefer longer ttk, or some variant of headshot kill would matter more. Relasing a full mag with little to zero recoil and get maybe 2 kills gets pretty boring pretty fast, and also lessens the single/tap-fire use. It doesnt need to be CS recoil difficult, but at least a little challenging at range. But maybe there will be a good old G3 rifle that will get me that feeling back (where the amount of bullets left in the mag actually feel like they matter).
In the end I had a good time playing the beta, and I feel somewhat hopeful for the future of the game.
