They have the ability to rollback that experience, but instead punish new players or ones that didn't abuse the exploit.
The best part is that in their solution they have killed portal. If I'm not going to get EXP for playing, then why would I choose that mode?
Also, without a server browser portal will never work.
It's a real shame that XP (and Battlepass) IS essentially, the game. This is what it has come down to. If the gameplay itself could stand on it's own and was good enough and fun enough then you'd be playing it just for the sake of playing it, as it used to be some years ago.
But now they've let the original fun & quality of the franchise's gameplay slide, to a great degree, and replaced that with a typical XP/Battlepass progression game.
Battlefield as we once knew it is now completely gone and in the hands of a new generation of developers (and gamers) who don't even understand what they've done. They dont design and play arena shooters because the game itself is fun... it's played solely to level up and unlock content as fast as you can before your friend does. Ridiculous.
