Censorship?
I submitted a support ticket about an immersion/audio issue in BF6. The ticket was removed. No reply, no explanation, nothing. Before that, I tried bringing the same topic up on the forums and ran into the same wall. At this point it’s hard not to see this as the topic being deliberately avoided.
What I’m asking about is very simple and purely related to game design.
In actual matches, around 70–90% of the soldier models I see are female. This isn’t a one-off impression, it’s consistent across many matches. For a Battlefield title that is clearly inspired by real-world armed forces, this breaks immersion in a big way.
For comparison: across NATO countries, female personnel make up roughly 10–15% of active military forces, depending on the country. There is no real-world modern military where battlefield infantry looks anything like what we’re seeing in BF6.
I’m not asking for anyone to be removed from the game.
I’m not telling other players how they should play.
I’m asking a very straightforward question:
Why isn’t there a player-side option to choose the gender of your own soldier model?
The assets already exist. This would solve the immersion issue for players who care about realism, without affecting anyone else’s preferences.
Removing posts instead of answering a basic design question doesn’t help and just creates frustration.
I’m looking for a clear, factual explanation, not moderation or silence.
