I have encountered alot in Domination, I am not sure they are cheating but the high ping gives them an advantage due to lag compensation and often makes the rest of the server feel worse.
The question is how are they getting placed in out of region servers so often....
Well, I am Chinese, in fact, because Battlefield does not have a server in Chinese mainland, so most Chinese players play on the Hong Kong server, we choose the regional server through an accelerator, but the competitive pressure of the Hong Kong server is very high, so some people will go to the European servers to play, even if the latency is higher
Due to lag compensation the higher latency gives you an advantage over everyone with low pings and makes the server feel unstable, very selfish.
You’re hilarious, my friend : ) So you’re saying your ping is so low it’s like you’re sitting right on the server, but you still can’t beat someone who sees everything MORE THAN 150MS LATER than you—and you’re blaming them for ruining server stability and messing up your game? That’s the flimsiest excuse I’ve ever heard 🤣
Lag compensation exists, lag compensation punishes people with low ping in order to give someone with a high ping a more enjoyable experience and I never said I cant beat them.
They do not see things later, due to lag compensation they see things BEFORE players with low pings.
And yes it does cause minor issues on the server you can see it everytime there is a high pinger in the lobby.
