Losers? It's your choice to play on console. It's also your choice to use a clunky controller to play an FPS game, which is better suited for a M&K. And you don't deserve special treatment because you have chosen to use the inferior device. You now have a better option with M&K support on consoles. Don't want to use a M&K? Then don't cry about being at a disadvantage when you can do something about it.
Remember, your console and controller are better suited for console games, not fast-paced shooter games. If you want to compete against us mean PC devils, then leave the consoles and controllers for kids to play on and step up your game with a decent gaming PC. That way you too can have all these great advantages on the Battlefield! Or continue to cry about being at a disadvantage. Again, it's YOUR choice!
And for the record, I truly do hope you console players get an option to be able to COMPLETELY avoid playing against us PC devils. Most of us don't want forced cross-play either. Battlefield was much more enjoyable without it.
This is exactly why many of us are asking EA for a console-only crossplay option. This isn’t about crying or wanting special treatment. It’s about fairness and balance. Controllers and M&K are fundamentally different input methods, and no amount of “just plug in a keyboard” changes the fact that console players choose consoles for a reason, affordability, accessibility, and a level playing field with others using the same hardware. Crossplay should be about expanding the player pool without forcing mismatched experiences. PC players like yourself don’t want to be stuck with console lobbies, and console players don’t want to be thrown into PC lobbies where hardware and input advantages dominate. Giving both sides the choice solves the problem for everyone. Battlefield thrived for years without forced crossplay. All we’re asking for is the same option going forward, let console players play with console players, and PC players play with PC players. That way, nobody has to feel disadvantaged, and nobody has to stop enjoying the game because of a system they didn’t ask for.
