Console only crossplay when?!

Will we ever get console only crossplay as an option like in Call of duty and other games? I am loving BF6 and try to get online and play as often as possible. I’m in the uk and play on a Xbox series x with crossplay off. I’ve always preferred the crossplay off option as for me this levels the playing field as the majority of PC players have a  hardware advantage over console and I want to play with other gamers on the same or as close as possible hardware to me in this case PlayStation users. Recently outside of “peak” hours Im finding it impossible to find a full lobby in any game mode and all games are topped up with bots the big maps being nearly all bots minus 4 or 5 real players per team. I find this extremely frustrating and chose not to play. I want to play real players not bots. When I play call of duty I never have this problem with the console only crossplay setting. The matchmaking is quick, the game runs fine and the lobbies are a good mixture of Xbox and  PlayStation users. I have never had bots (to my knowledge) in my games with this setting. I don’t understand why EA didn’t go with the same idea by allowing Xbox and PlayStation to play together. If I turn crossplay on my lobbies are all pc players I rarely have another console player in the game with me so that’s not an option for me.  I hope they can make the change in the future because I can see other Xbox players leaving the game due to this as I’m currently doing when I can’t find a game and that would be a shame as the game is so much fun. I’m not sure if PlayStation have the same issues? But if they are finding games easier I still can’t see why they wouldn’t make the change to make the pool of players bigger improving matchmaking times and not having games made up with bots, nobody wants to play in bot lobbies and if they did they can chose to do so with portal.
