I think the default mix should be 80/20 Male to female. This would still over represent females but wouldn't make them as common as males. Battlefield is all about representative realism not verbatim realism so I think this 80/20 mix strikes a good balance that more accurately reflects the gender mix than now but doesn't relegate them to ultra rare unicorn representation either.
