Hi,
Allow me to present you with a list of countries that allow female soldiers in direct combat roles. The following list includes only countries I was able to confirm have females in direct combat roles. In no particular order:
- Eritrea
- Australia
- Israel
- New Zealand
- Denmark
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Ireland
- Italy
- Norway
- Sweden
- Ukraine
- United Kingdom
- Canada
- United States
Naturally there's still the factor of percentage of presence in these duties, but that's a fairly minor concern given that the Battlefield 6 "world" is essentially "all-out warfare" where, at least to me, it seems reasonable that the involved parties would conscript women into combat duties.
While I realize these facts may be inconvenient to you, I'm afraid the real world does not particularly care about your feelings or opinions on this matter. Personally, I neither condemn or condone the inclusion of women, a "female toggle", or other mechanics pertaining to this matter. I am indifferent to their inclusion or exclusion.

What does this count as a direct combat role? Flying in a jet/gunship as the pilot or the gunner and being on a commando team on the frontlines on the ground are two different things.
There is also the difference between allowing something for the sake of appearances and actually doing it. Very few of those countries listed (just 1) have actually seen real war in all its horror in the last few decades. - SilverJoystixx6 months agoSeasoned Vanguard
It's obvious that you are not "indifferent to their inclusion or exclusion." You wouldn't have taken the time to express how butthurt you are that no one wants to hear a bunch of women screaming commands in battle. I would have more respect for what you typed if you were simply honest about your position.
A LOT of us care about this issue. Not as many as I would personally like to see, but if the final game releases with female soldiers running all over the field screaming in our ears, it will be met with adversity.

The joy of being a separate individual is that other people don't decide my opinions; I am indifferent, merely stating factual information that the previously listed countries do employ female soldiers in direct combat roles. I compiled and presented the list for one simple reason; I hate arguments based on false perception and false information.
I noted the point about "reality not caring for your feelings" because I was anticipating your type of response, as people have a tendency to make up arguments and motives whenever they are confronted by factual information contradicting their personal views. Your response has done nothing to change my mind on this matter.
At no point did I state that "no one cares about this issue", I realize people care about this issue, but the same people seem to make up arguments such as, and I quote from the original post of this thread:
[...] there are women in combat roles in the modern age (though they are very few and far between).
Which I conclusively showed is not the case in most western countries.
You are free to feel one way or the other on this subject, I really could not care less. What I do care about and take issue with is you trying to tell me what my position is on a certain subject, even when I specifically have stated that I am indifferent on the subject.
