You’re fine mowing down countless fictional men without a shred of conscience, but the second it’s a woman, suddenly it’s unbearable?
That isn’t ‘immersion’ or ‘respect’, it’s just prejudice you can’t bring yourself to admit. Games already toss realism out the window with respawns, magic medkits, and rocket launchers carried like toys, so drawing the line at female soldiers is laughable.
If you can’t even bear to hear a woman scream in a video game, then this ‘terrible yet necessary burden’ is better relegated to women than to spineless men on the EA forums.
