This is why I wish they would have made the classes closer to how they had BFV. Where you could change the classes avatar. You had different genders and races. Allowed you to pick what YOUR class soldier looked like. This would have been the best of both worlds. No one is forced to play as something or someone they don't want to. Plus gave DICE more options for cosmetic microtransactions...
