I can confirm this. The damage falloff is also higher on RPKM than KST100/L110 on distance. KST and L110 dont have that much damage fall off.
But with SMG I had beam 75-100mm with consistent damage no problem.
When people complained about the M4 i though it was just because it unlock first and is iconic so ofc everyone is using it. But wow when i tried it myself lol. Its so much better than the lmgs and assault rifle i was leveling. You're right about winning fights at 70m with the m4 versus everything else with 2 quick burst.
Now that weapons are unlocked for classes and carbines arent needed what should we do? Lets make Carbine better than everything else. Makes DICE sense.
