Early signs detected: Players Sad due to CZ3A1 Impossible to unlock

Yep. Came back to check the game out and saw there are now guns in it that can only be unlocked by paying for an $18 pack. That's a hard nope from me.

Monetization decisions like this don't just push away players, they make active detractors to the franchise. Anyone that asks me about the game now I will have to recommend not trying it and going to one of your competitors instead. Remember that as you watch player counts drop.

I have unlocked it. I had to wait until the weekly challenges were reset to be able to get enough points.

It'll be unlockable via challenges at some point in the future, same as it was for the guns from Season One. However, it probably won't be available until after this season ends.

(Penguin not having this problem with unlock, but seeing it being brought up more frequently across the web, to Penguin it's more a matter of what should we tell them?)

Penguin also suspect it will be available via some challenges in the future.  Maybe something similar to what was done last season will be done about it?
