At this point it's insane how obvious it is. Wallers/ESP, cronus, soft-aimbot, etc. You'll have ppl that were 2kd suddenly going 10kd+. Wow. More than any FPS game ever overnight! It's sad that EA won't do anything to combat this. They put out meaningless statistics. how many accounts have you banned EA? How many on console? Are you going to ban up to 1/3 of all console players?
To call out cheaters, you need some form of evidence; a high KD ratio is far from enough. Once you learn a map and its routes, it becomes quite easy to predict where other players are and the evasive moves they may take. From my perspective, I would say the inconsistent gameplay experience from compensating features built into the netcode is more significant in its detrimental effect on the gameplay experience.
Just got put into a game with a 30 k/d cheater on steam. When does it stop EA? When are you actually going to ban people?
Every game i've joined has multiple 10 k/d+ players. No other game ever has that. I'm not talking vehicles either. Insane. Why does EA allow this cheating to go on?
No, that doesn't change it at all. They quit going after console cheaters after the first few weeks. Most console players don't even see their cheats as "cheating" which says even more about them. Oh sure, there are plenty of PC cheaters. I report 2-3 steam players every game, usually in a few choice countries.... TBH, they should make using a VPN bannable on all platforms.
those same "Console cheats" work on PC at an even better polling rate.
Also the same MNK you use on PC works on Console.
